MediaWallah seeks an industry-experienced Junior Data/Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will be partnering with Data Science, Data Engineering, operations and business stakeholders teams to build tools, support existing pipelines, and enhanced current infrastructure to support customer requirements, deliverables and business needs.
This will entail developing a deep understanding of existing processes and the data that supports them. You will also have the opportunity to influence architecture and technology to promote the quality and innovation necessary for industry changing data driven decisions at all levels of the company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance current data pipelines that interact with AWS, Snowflake, Linux and Python.
- Create scripts in Python/Bash/SQL and workflows to automate repeated data processing tasks.
- Support existing data warehouse infrastructure.
- Design and develop tools for internal teams.
- Identifies and implements ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Coding proficiency in:
- Linux, Bash, and Unix tools
- Python
- SQL
- AWS echo system, specifically: S3, IAM and Roles, EC2, Lambda functions, SNS and SQS
- Relational databases and Data Warehouses.
- Preferred Snowflake.
- Alternatively, RedShift, Postgres, or MSSQL
